For international shipments, import duties and taxes are charged by the destination country. Who pays depends on the delivery terms chosen when the shipment is booked:
- DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid): the receiver pays duties and taxes on delivery. This is the usual arrangement.
- DDP (Delivered Duty Paid): the sender pays them in advance, so the receiver has nothing to pay on delivery.
We handle the customs documentation. You can estimate the duties on a shipment with the duty calculator in the customer portal before you book.
